Help us spread the word!

Help us spread the word
Last season we had to turn families away because registration had closed by the time they heard about the League.

Don’t delay, tell your family, friends, co-workers, church members,  your kid’s classmates, post it at their schools, Facebook it, Tweet it, we don’t care HOW you spread the word!

There are no residency restrictions, we accept girls and boys ages 4 – 17.

THANK YOU!!!
We look forward to seeing all of you parents, grand parents, coaches, referees, and players on the field soon!!!!!

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed
Parents, as the league grows, we need more coaches, referees, coordinators and field preppers.

We will train all volunteers.
Coaching
Coaching is not hard or scary. It can be one of the most fun and rewarding things you can do!   If you can commit to attending training, holding a practice at least once per week and be at the game on Saturdays – you can be a coach.

Refereeing
Ref’s are the only paid position in the league.  Ref’s are paid $20 per game.  We will train any player 13 years or older to become a referee for the league.  This will give teens an opportunity to earn money over the summer for years to come.  We would also like to get some more parents on the field.
Age Group Coordinator
AGC’s help to put the teams together and help nudge parents into coaching when we they need additional coaches in their age group.  Most of their work happens before the season starts.  By the 3rd game, their work is virtually completed.
AGC’s must be good organizers.
Field Preppers
Each week we need to touch up the lines on the fields.  Depending on how many volunteers we get each week, field prep takes between 30 minutes to an hour.  Field prep is usually done on Thursday or Friday nights, but parents can field prep while their kids practice!
Goal Post Set Up and Take Down
We need the Dad’s to help us with setting up and taking down the goal post. If you have a pick up truck…we really need you!
Set up wil be in mid July and take down will be the weekend after the season ends.  We can use some Mom’s to help with the initial lining of the fields
Anyone interested in coaching, refereeing or age group coordinating please let us know soon.  Training will be in July. You can call & leave a voicemail message at 888-505-8959 or send an email to rosedalesoccer@yahoo.com.

2013 Season Greetings

Greetings Soccer Family,
This is going to be our most exciting season ever!  There’s lots of new things happening this year.  The league is expanding!  In addition to the Rosedale Park fields, games will also be played at the Northwest Activities Center, we have a new website and we will be able to accept credit and debit card payments at onsite registration and the concessions stands.

Our most exciting announcement is that we are partnering with the WAZA soccer club to bring the pre-season soccer camp back this year. Rosedale Soccer is a volunteer league. All families are expected to help in some way. This is a large volunteer endeavor and we need people to coach, prepare fields, publicize and help with the various organizing efforts. If you do not volunteer for a category on the registration form, one will be assigned to you.

Practice days, times and locations are set by each individual coach. Players may “PLAY UP” with older players for more of a challenge, but are not allowed to play back with younger players.

A block of rooms have reserved at the Kalahari for our 2nd Annual Post Season Trip.
